How to Pay Rent

We currently offer 3 different methods of paying rent: Checking account, cash, and credit/debit card. Please read below to learn more/

Check (Bank account):

Similar to a paying with a regular check but without actually writing a paper check every month.  You can setup your account to pay manually or automatically every month. You are responsible for payment (we cannot pause, reschedule, or otherwise modify your rent payments. Only you have control).

This is the only method that has no fees, and won’t expire like a credit/debit card.

Cash:

You can pay at any Moneygram location, which includes all Walmarts and many CVS stores (find locations here).  Moneygram charges a few dollars to process the payment.

If you do not have an email, you can still pay with Moneygram, but will not get a receipt.

Detailed Moneygram instructions can be found here:  How to Pay with Moneygram.

Debit or Credit Card

Using either of these methods will incur a service fee to pay for processing card payments.

Note that the processor charges an extra 2.85% fee. So, for example, if someone’s rent is $435, then the processing fee will be $9.83.

Paying via card requires using an email address and using our online payment portal (ScheduleMyRent).
